Ewwwww I agree with you! I haven't ever seen him before...but I think he is TOTALY can't play Sebastian in the movie. Btw movie will be real shit I think. Their foolish ideas "without Ciel" shocked me. I haven't any words...only "What a hell are they doing?!?!??!!" : Musical actors are awesome, why they was needed to choose HIM?! I have some predictions about it, that Yana didn't accept using all Kuroshitsuji terms including some her own ideas and Ciel (His name is more original than Sebastian's)... Ehhh...only "WTF?". Many people agree with me, and I'm pretty sure they will fail in their fucking "movie".
YES! He was one of the guests of honors at the 2011 Fanime con! AND he did a special concert there as well! Look! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YQ4s3... If I ever did asked him if I thought of it in the first place OR someone might already did since it's a very common question for popular cartoons to become a movie, I'm sure he would've said "yes he'd love to since he played all the musicals." But if you think about it, have ANY OTHER musical performers ever played the same main roles in the motion pictures?
I saw it, Yuya is awesome! *0* ^^ You're really lucky! Yeah I see... so, you really think that the every great cartoon must become a movie? I think Kuroshitsuji anime and manga are great and dont need any live-action remakes. Btw about musicians and your question...if I've understood you right...I never interested in musicals or movies with any musical actors...and can't say smth about it. I think, Yuya may said the words you've written, but the main problem is in the plot of this movie! It's nonsensical! I guess he may deny because of it! So, what have you wanted to say in your last sentence?
I see you're Russian. The internet is so BIG! You get to talk to people on the same screen internationally!
Anyway, it IS possible for popular cartoons gets to become a movie it they're popular enough! It happens all the time if you think about it. Plus the directors and writers pay the creators millions of dollars for their super popular creations to be made into a movie. And you can't beat a million dollars. Like Superman, Batman, X-Men, Avengers, Iron Man, Avatar the Last Airbender, My Little Pony, (it's classic) Monster High, Bratz, Barbie, Bleach, Prince of Tennis, Naruto, Justice League, Inuyasha, Tiger and Bunny, Pretty Cure, Sailor Moon, Winx Club and Blue Exorcist! Yes, smash hit cartoons and toys do have movies most of the times at least.
Mainly because people are hungry for extra money, and that's why they make movies so fans will pay lots of money to see their favorite series as a full length film! I know in Japan, they make mangas all the time, their mangas are published in the magazines and bookstores, few of the mangas gets so popular, and they're chosen to become animated series, and sometimes musicals to make them more interesting. It's all about making money. Same goes to Iginio Straffi the creator of Winx Club. His creation became SO BIG in Italy! Winx Club became toys, animated TV Series, Movies, Musicals, Ice Skating musical, and even an entire THEME PARK called Raibow Magic Land! www.luccihotelrome.com/hotels-...
If you think about it, if your mangas or comics gets really really popular and a director will pay you a million dollars for your work to be a movie, surely you can't say no to a giant paycheck.
To be honest if England or America were to do a version of this movie I think to idea of black butler would become way to overrated. I don't think they should've made a movie at all, it would've been better to just leave it at an anime and manga
I'd suggest following it on Facebook. Updates are posted there and on the official Kuroshitsuji website. I think it's Kuroshitsuji.com or BlackButler.com not sure which one it is. If I find out anything more I'll hopefully be able to post it to some groups.
